1999 PFFL Regular Season Schedule

League Note: The Ft. Wayne, Toledo, and Dayton teams folded. Regular season play was halted after the June 19th scheduled games.

Final standings for remaining three teams are: Cleveland ( 8 & 0 ) 1st; Buffalo ( 7 - 1 ) 2nd; and Columbus ( 4 & 4 ) 3rd.

Columbus will play Buffalo July 17th at Buffalo. Cleveland will play winner July 24th for championship.

1999 Championship Game - Cleveland vs Buffalo

Buffalo defeated Columbus for the right to play Cleveland for the PFFL Championship on July 24th, 1999. The Championship game was not played. Both teams claim the win on a forfeit. The game was ruled a 'no contest' by the league. The Commissioner's Office has ruled the game must be played on August 14 or September 19. Both Cleveland and Buffalo were given until Thursday, August 5th, 12:00N to accept the date and venue supplied by the league. As both teams elected not to play the Championship game, the 1999 regular season is officially concluded with the following results: Cleveland 1st place, Buffalo 2nd place, and Columbus 3rd place.
